We wondered in here mid after when it was empty, thought for a minute it was closed. The head chef was walking by, no hostess around, so he sat us near the kitchen, got us drinks and menus. In the end we had a special they called "At the Mercy of the Chef" Basically the chef just kept bringing us what he wanted until we couldn't eat anymore. I lost count at 9 courses. We tried smaller portions of everything on the menu and had a few creations they were thinking about adding to the menu. Sitting so close to the kitchen and the walk in cooler we were able to watch local suppliers come in and drop things off. A girl came in with milk crates full of butter from a local farm. Another girl came in with 25lbs bags of oysters on her shoulder, local oyster farmer. The chef would excuse himself, inspect what they had, write them a check, and put it in their fridge. I don't say this lightly, but we have lived in NYC, Chicago, and now back home in LA, and domestically, this is the best meal we have had in a restaurant either of us could remember. We will be back to Charleston again, this place is no small part of that decision.

I will fallow the suggested list... The food is amazing and delicious.... I'm totally going back again because of the food !!!!! The service was good. I really enjoyed the restaurant. It's really comfortable and everything was nice and clean. . We had the lobster mac & cheese, the shrimp quesadilla . 4 raw oysters, and 4 baked oysters... and the ceviche . Totally delicious,,,,definitely five stars when it comes to the food.. The prices are reasonable, especially for the portions they serve... yes it's a little expensive but I think it's worth it. I'm completely honest when i write/post a review,,,, the only issue I had with this restaurant, was the a fly was constantly bothering us ., and the staff seen us trying to swatting it away. But did nothing.... That was disappointing... Besides that , like I said the food was great.

The Crispy Brussels Sprouts deserve their own recognition, they were delicious! The lobster roll was also very good. Service was great, and it wasn't too busy when we got there (Wed 4 PM). We sat in the outside area & loved it!

This spot was perfect for a date night.. the ambience was beautiful they put out heaters late at night, the food was delicious-no pic included but also ordered the Brussels sprouts and dessert we shared the beignets. Drinks were delicious and staff were super attentive. This place was wort h it- didn't even feel like we were in downtown-super safe and parking is 2 hours free.
